Description

The Hickory Stripe Denim Button Down from Gitman Vintage is made from an all-season, medium weight 100% Cotton denim with a woven yarn-dyed indigo stripe on an off-white base replicating old railroad shirts in a modern piece, providing another brilliantly updated heritage homage to a timeless pattern from Gitman. Loomed in Japan, this refined 6 oz. denim fabric has a crisp structure and workwear durability that will evolve and form to the wearer through repeated use and washes. Our modern short-length button-down collar comes replete with Gitman's original details like chalk buttons, locker loop, and a final horizontal button hole in green thread. This shirt is produced in the new modern slim fit with a slightly less dramatic hem sweep and straighter body, as a variation to the signature fit that remains the same tailored "just right" cut for most body types. Gitman Vintage shirts are classic, simple, and original, and have a casual sophistication that makes them a standard wardrobe piece for many well-dressed men. We are unique in our offerings of Gitman Vintage by neck sizing for all you gents who are between alpha sizes — you now have the opportunity for a perfectly fitting Gitman right out of the box.

Today, Gitman Bros. is one of the last remaining American shirt makers with all manufacturing still based in the USA. Created with materials from mills in the US, Europe, and Japan and sewn by experienced craftspeople, history... View All Gitman Vintage Products
