The Dehen 1920 Division Sport Pack Belted Shawl Coat in Black is inspired by a vintage Varsity sweater found by one of our ranking members and infused into this evolved and timeless collectable for our all-star stylers. Produced in collaboration with Dehen, the Belted Shawl Coat is made in outerwear four-end heavyweight worsted wool and is knit completely in-house on vintage machines utilized since the 1950's, representing enduring quality and style at its absolute best. The result of a solid collaboration and a lot of hard work, we produced what we believe to be the perfect belted sweater coat in a completely new design based on turn of the last century examples of baseball and football warm-up pieces from archival photos. Refined through endless samples and iterations in a classically tailored fit that will allow layering, comfort and drape, and paired with a hearty double layered knit wool ribbed belt and perfected button placement, we're sure that many gents will find this to be the Belted Shawl Coat they never knew they needed. For a commanding Division piece, we implemented our Black, Old Gold, and Off-White palette with a color blocked shawl collar and front placket, custom striped worsted wool and rib knit roll back cuffs, and a chenille on felt Dehen x Division 1920 logo below the large welt pockets to highlight Dehen’s "Heavy Duty Old School Truth" history infused with a new school approach. Furthering the vintage sportswear design, we coordinated premium natural cowhide leather elbow patches and polished natural corozo buttons, specially made for this collection pack, along with contrasting button hole thread for a fresh, modern sweater coat that will still impress those seeking authentic American workmanship and style. This best-in-class, vintage-inspired knitwear masterpiece is a new original hallmark to Dehen's captain of craft status with a classic design, color scheme, and material appropriate for style and seasonal versatility.
