The Crissman Overshirt in Olive Mix from Dehen 1920 is made in a 100% Pure Virgin Wool in a heavy weight deadstock 16 oz. Melton woolen from the once Washington based, now closed Centralia Mills. This melton wool is a twill weave with a short, non-directional nap that's brushed to bring out various colors and allow for greater softness with prolonged wear in a fabric made for outdoor conditions and hard weather. An instant Dehen classic upon its introduction, the Crissman Overshirt exemplifies functional craftsmanship as a layering or outerwear piece that will stand the test of time. In a deeply dimensional olive green colorway with specks of brown and red, this Crissman provides a timeless rugged look to each heritage ensemble. This overshirt is built like any foundational piece should be, with horn buttons, brass hardware, reinforced elbows, chest flap pockets, welted hand pockets and tan cotton lined accents. For what has become a shop and wardrobe favorite, this Crissman Overshirt quickly will become a standard choice for the urban woodsman to wear over a button down as a jacket in mild weather, a layering piece over an elevated basic, and under a signature outerwear piece in colder months. In other words, the Crissman Overshirt allows for innumerable classically-inspired ensembles.
