Description

The Prussian Blue Belgium Linen & Wool Essential Jacket by De Bonne Facture is inspired by a studio portrait of the Dutch painter Corneille, a co-founder of the Cobra modern artistic movement originating in the late 1940's known for redefining western pictorial norms and the use of vivid colors. With a focus on sustainability through natural fibers and production techniques that connect the garment to the landscape, this Essential Jacket is made from a 9 oz. Belgium Linen and New Zealand Virgin Wool blended twill cloth produced by a multi-generation speciality mill in Belgium, and has been washed and pressed for a crisp, casual hand in a year-round piece. With a minimalist design approach inspired by vintage fashion, each element of this unlined, unstructured blazer carries thematic consistency. The refined and casual silhouette of this piece has complementary details like a notch collar, 2-button front, dual vented back, a welted chest pocket paired with lower patch pockets, interior welted chest pocket for keepsakes, and is finished with taped seams and high character genuine horn buttons. Paying homage to dress-casual city life, this blazer is atelier made in Paris, France by tailoring specialist Tane Style Pantin, providing the soul of fine regional craftsmanship; which, combined with the authenticity of fully traceable natural materials, yields an artisan piece for the timeless wardrobe of the contemporary fashion connoisseur. Featuring premium materials and production with an historic approach to a forward-focused look, the Prussian Blue Belgium Linen & Wool Essential Jacket will add a casual sophistication to any luxury oriented ensemble for the office, event, or excursion.
