The Cromford Leather x Division Road Hurricane Black Shearling Boss Parka is a foundational piece originally part of the Luxe Ranch Capsule Collection that tailors military and workwear influences into a modern, refined wardrobe for the Original Gentleman. This jacket is completely hand-crafted with the finest UK Merino Sheepskin Shearling hides that are individually selected for quality, tanned with a custom recipe in small batches and hand glazed, dyed, and waxed for an unmatched combination of sophistication and durability. Designed as a single hide construction in a versatile color combination, a saturated charcoal-black with a waxed and sanded flesh exterior pairs with a natural undyed, high curl, medium weight merino interior for a flexible and well-insulated staple style piece. Developed exclusively for Division Road, we created a tailored and elevated version of the N3-B and M-51 Parkas popular from the 60’s to current day in a never-before-seen iteration of a luxurious hand-crafted piece with a modern form. In collaboration with Cromford in London, we orchestrated every detail, from the hood and pocketing to the hardware, with improved specifications like a three-piece hood and snorkel collar that lays perfectly on the body or pops up to close for a storm or styling, along with horn buttons and leather loops. Hallmarking the military inspiration with a dose of refinement, wide welt slanted chest pockets and lower welt hand pockets concealed on the rolled panel seams integrate with a heavy duty Brisbane Moss duck canvas face, moleskin lined, suede banded interior pocket construction, all of which provide a highly functional and premium new-classic shearling coat. The Boss Parka is further evolved with a concealed snap and military grade antique brass RIRI zipped front placket and rolled seams throughout, hallmarking our modern-meets-heritage approach with this extraordinary garment.
