Description

The Montana Sock in Aegean by Chup is inspired by traditional motifs of stars and crosses found in Navajo rug designs that speak to the directional orientation and importance of the mountains, sky, and rivers comprising the landscape of these native people. The palette and motifs reflect the natural plant and earth dying techniques used for garments and rugs made by the Navajo to express those natural elements within their heritage designs. With an Aegean blue field reminiscent of the flowing rivers that combines with earth-based designs informed by a storied history, these socks will bring reverence and character to the foundation of your style rotations. Produced out of Japan with meticulous care on vintage stocking weaving machines, each sock is a single knit construction. For comfort, durability, breathability, and sustainability these socks use recycled virgin combed cotton fibers that are blended with an acrylic Dralon® yarn that features the best possible combination of man-made and natural fibers for footwear basics that are textured, versatile, and odor resistant. Crafted to collectible quality, Chup Socks are artisan produced and truly unique accompaniments to your hand-grade footwear, making a Chup not just a sock, but an artful luxury heritage accessory.
