Bates Hats Toni Cap - British Millerain Dry Waxed Canvas - Camel
The Bates Toni Cap is a fitted, deep backed and tailored 6-panel button crown cap, constructed out of a 10 oz. British Millerain® Dry Waxed Canvas milled from 100% Cotton. From the 1880's, British Millerain is the world's first producer of waxed cotton ranges originally used for military purposes and, ultimately progressing to the utility of countryside wear, they still make some of the finest waxed canvas in Lancashire, England by using premium materials and leveraging technology with old world tradition. Finished at the yarn state to have no residue while remaining weather resistant, this dry wax cotton canvas will subtly evolve in finish as it forms to the shape of the wearer and comes in a versatile, all-season, and timeless camel colorway that will work with a variety of ensembles. Inspired by turn-of-the-century casual caps worn in both industrial work and leisure activities, the Toni is an adapted version of the Gatsby Cap that combines the flat cap silhouette with the classical shape of a paneled cap. Bates is known for using the finest weather-resistant materials designed for premium hats, which come fully lined with custom satin acetate and a satin twill interior banding. Made in Belgium with a modern iteration of English heritage, Bates represents the best of styling, proportion, fabric, and fit for the Original Gentleman.
