The Bates Gatsby Cap is a fitted, classic 8-panel button crowned cap constructed out of an Abraham Moon® Melange Donegal Tweed milled in England from 100% British Shetland Wool. Produced by one of the few remaining vertical mills, Moon produces this special tweed with an authentic Kilcarra slub yarn spun in Ireland that is thick and durable, has pronounced texture, a variable palette, and natural elasticity ideal for dissipating the damp and cold weather of the countryside that's also stable in workwear conditions. This natural wool made via old world methods boasting outstanding comfort comes in a peppered plain weave of pecan, espresso, and wheat yarns to create a woolen that has amazing character and depth. The famous Gatsby Cap, also known as the Baker Boy or News Boy Cap, is inspired by turn-of-the-century casual caps worn in both industrial work and leisure activities. The Gatsby has milder proportions while retaining the drape of the originals, allowing for a practical and historic aesthetic. Sizing

Measure the circumference of your head with a fabric tape measure placed about 1/8” above your ears, and across your forehead mimicking where the hat will sit on your head. The measurement generally will match the hat size, and if between measurements go to the next size up: 56 cm = 22", 57 cm = 22.5", 58 cm = 22 7/8", 59 cm = 23 1/4", 60 cm = 23 5/8", 61 cm = 24", 62 cm = 24 3/8"
