Description

The Alain Bomber Jacket by APC is made from an Italian Tricotine cotton/linen blend, which is a matte finished suiting-grade double twill that's been treated to be water-resistant for spring through fall conditions. In normal A.P.C. fashion, the classic MA-1 bomber has been adapted with a minimalist approach to garments, leaving only sensical details that lend themselves to the overall composition. This piece is well-conceived with all the right elements like the gusseted flap arm pocket, interior storm placket for comfort against the zipper and specialty ribbing for the stand-up collar, cuffs, and hem. Further, the dark navy color, twill weave, and suiting-quality fabric used in this exceptionally tailored bomber create a modern piece that still hallmarks the heritage originals. Easily paired with basics and button downs alike, this A.P.C. piece will become a staple in your wardrobe regardless of style rotations.
