Service Boot - 2030 - Vibram 2060 - Charcoal Chamois Roughout

$700.00

Description

The Service Boot is an updated interpretation of Viberg's original work boot, designed by company founder Edwin Viberg in 1931. A similar pattern was used by several countries as a standard issue military boot during WWII. Charcoal Chamois is a highly oiled, fat liquored, full vegetable re-tanned nubuck produced by Horween to have great flexibility and durability with a natural soft feel that requires minimal maintenance. When used on the fine napped flesh side, the heavy oil content of this Chamois leather produces a gloss effect, which will weather through water and debris to yield a classic patina. In one of the first-ever styles produced in Charcoal with this particular tannage and featuring the coal-like roughout side of the leather, we created a clean addition to our tonal traveler Service Boot series, one that will age well and become a daily boot within anyone's rotation. We utilized the 2030 Last to provide a sleeker silhouette paired with the Vibram 2060 sole for street-savvy walkability. Completed with a natural midsole and stitchdown construction, the result is a work boot with a clean palette that will develop a refined character specific to its travels. With a statement aesthetic and a rugged build, this subtly aggressive Service Boot is perfect for the gent who brings a little bit of nightlife to his day shift.
