The Tricker's x Division Road Horween Natural Dublin Robert Derby Shoe is an exclusive collaboration with the definitive maker of English Country footwear, using a premium Horween hard-wearing leather upper and a natural leather Barbour welt paired with a Goodyear Commando sole. This Division Road exclusive style utilizes our favored Natural Dublin by Horween®, an undyed vegetable tanned leather that uses the same traditional extracts as Horween’s Cordovan with a high oil and fat content, an aniline finish to retain the hide’s natural feel and remarkable grain characteristics, and is then waxed for durability while allowing for a deep patina that highlights the innate qualities of the leather. The Robert Derby is one of Tricker's newer derby styles inspired by a blucher shoe, refined with a wholecut upper and set-in eyestay to yield a simple style where the hearty build and natural character of the leather are of primary focus. All Tricker's undergo 260 individual steps in which craftspeople include a mulling concoction to infuse the uppers with oils, a wooden shank, a corking compound from a century-old recipe and exquisite English finishing. This modern Robert Derby's more robust silhouette is achieved by using the 4497s Last that creates a substantial yet elegant design that accommodates a variety of foot types. This results in a simple boardroom-to-boondocks focused shoe that combines country footwear build-quality with a contemporary form, made to the refined craftsmanship standards expected from a Tricker's. With its natural Barbour storm welt and midsole, a British made Goodyear Commando sole and brass eyelets, this shoe takes a British new-classic to refined heights while acting as a solid base for any ensemble. As England's oldest shoe maker, Royal warrant holder, originator of the country boot and one of the first and few still utilizing traditional Goodyear welting to the highest standards of quality in the industry, a Tricker's truly is made to last a lifetime in all conditions.
