The Drover Shirt in Slate from Dehen 1920 is made in a 100% Cotton heavyweight 12.5 oz. sanforized Japanese Selvedge Denim milled by Nihon Menpu that's appropriate as a versatile style staple for year-round use. A newer piece in the Dehen collection, the Drover exemplifies functional craftsmanship as a base layer or overshirt to give a refined, rugged look to each heritage ensemble by combining military elements of squared pocketing and a pleated back shoulder yoke with western inspired hardware for an all-season all-star. Coming in a deep indigo rope dyed warp with grey weft selvedge denim loomed in Japan using slightly slubbed yarns and tonal stitching, this shirt provides a clean charcoal-cast palette for fading and patina potential through years of repeated wears and washes. The Drover is built like any foundational piece should be, with pearl snaps for the front placket, cuffs, and dual flap front chest pockets along with a hidden pen pocket, and is completed with felled seams throughout.
