The Crockett & Jones x Division Road Bronze Oiled Sides Grizedale Boot is an exclusive collaboration with one of England's oldest family-owned footwear makers and takes a gentleman's vintage country boot pattern with military roots to the outdoors. This Division Road style utilizes a special combination oil-tan recipe by Horween of premium steer sides that are hot stuffed with oils and waxes, with a sanded grain allowing the ingredients to protect the surface and a sophisticated patina to develop, yielding a refined, casual material with robust performance in the outdoors. A newer design in the Crockett & Jones line-up, the Grizedale is a fully functional country boot with a single continuous vamp interlined with a waterproof membrane, an appropriately high and unlined quarter for flexible protection, a bellows tongue to prevent water penetration into the upper, and is finished with a fluted backstay and leather pull loop for an elegant utilitarian design. This Grizedale's sophisticated outdoor silhouette is achieved with the 228 Last designed in the 1950's for hiking boots with a military backbone. The sleek rounded toe and accommodative fit in the forefoot combine with a tapered waist and gripped heel to fit a wide variety of feet and perform well in extreme activities.
