Description

The Imbolc Sock in Oatmeal by Chup is inspired by Celtic festivals held to celebrate the beginning of spring and to welcome longer, brighter days and vibrant landscapes using time-honored weaving designs. To hallmark the event and visual effect of changing seasons upon the rolling hills, forests, and the sea, this original design pays homage to the environment via bold colors and repeat patterns. With a storied history and balanced palette of cloud white, sunny yellow, red flowers, and turquoise blue waters, these sock patterns will bring reverence and character to the foundation of your style rotations. Produced out of Japan with meticulous care on vintage stocking frame machines, each sock is a single knit construction in a new ankle sock length that gives protection and a glimpse of the character throughout. For comfort, durability, and breathability, these socks use a blend of combed cotton, nylon, and acrylic Dralon® yarns that feature the best possible combination of man-made and natural fibers for footwear basics that are soft, versatile, and odor resistant. Crafted to collectible quality, Chup Socks are artisan produced and truly unique accompaniments to your hand-grade footwear, making a Chup not just a sock, but an artful luxury heritage accessory.
