Description
The JBJxBDD-J266B is a limited edition collaboration between Japan Blue and Benzak Denim Developers that commemorates the 10 year anniversary of a close production and development partnership between the two companies. This mid rise tapered fit is designed to be worn toward the natural waist, with a roomy seat and thigh that gracefully tapers through the leg to a narrow hem to yield a comfortable slim cut for a wide variety of body types. As a special fabric development for this limited release, the 16.5 oz. Monster denim is made from hand selected organic cotton cultivated in Cote d'Ivoire, that provides the highest quality fiber spun into a heavy slub yarn that will get amazingly soft while retaining its structural form. Loomed in Japan by Collect Mills in a low tension, this right hand twill denim has a unique selvedge line representing the flag colors of the Ivory Coast and Japan. Most importantly, this denim will yield vintage style fading patterns with a natural irregularity and allow this JBJxBDD-J266B jean to become immensely comfortable with a casual drape through repeated wears and washes. This denim development is a combination of Japan Blue details leveraged with the highly finished Benzak production standards: a JBJ metal alloy button fly, JBJ copper riveting, blue inseam thread, and the signature BDD chainstitched and bartack reinforced build throughout with lap and overlock seams. Hallmarking this JBJx BDD jean are combined details like the heavy duty organic cotton twill pocket bags, brand signatures pocket arcuates, and a collaboration vegetable tanned leather patch. The JBJxBDD Denim runs true to size, and we suggest sizing down roughly 0-1 size from your Actual Waist Measurement. This denim will stretch 1" in the waist with one month of regular use, and shrink .5" upon first wash.
