Viberg Service Boot - 310 - Vibram 705 - Black Oil Tan Roughout

Service Boot - 310 - Vibram 705 - Black Oil Tan Roughout

The Service Boot is an updated interpretation of Viberg's original work boot, designed by company founder Edwin Viberg in 1931. A similar pattern was used by many nations as a standard issue military boot during WWII. This full-grain Black Oil Tan is produced by Seidel Tannery with a high content of oil and wax impregnated into the hide in order to yield protection against water and dirt, and has been flipped on the Roughout side to yield a sturdy and renewable nap. This substantial boot utilizes the historic 310 last, sometimes referred to as the 1950’s Service Boot because of its rockabilly upturned toe and motorcycle boot profile, and combines a brogue cap toe with half-moon pinking on the edge to give a refined sensibility to an otherwise rugged boot. Completed with vintage brass eyelets, a natural midsole atop a Vibram 705 Split Sole and elegantly assembled by Viberg craftsman using stitchdown construction, this boot possess the look and function that shifting gears requires.
