Tramping Boot - 4497 - Ridgeway - Horween Oak Horsehide

$625.00

Description

The Tricker's x Division Road Horween Oak Horsehide Tramping Boot is an exclusive collaboration with the definitive maker of English Country footwear, using a premium Horween hard-wearing leather upper and a natural leather Barbour welt paired with the elegant Ridgeway lug sole. This Division Road exclusive style utilizes heavy horse hides, vegetable tanned by Horween® with the same extracts and traditional recipe as Cordovan with a high oil and fat content, an aniline finish to retain the hide’s natural feel and tight grain characteristics, and is grain side single strike dyed in this versatile medium brown to allow a deep patina that highlights the innate qualities of the leather. The Tramping Boot is based on an Officer’s battle dress style with a high quarter and curved peak counter over a wholecut upper that yields sleek lines in a durable and flexible style for functional outdoor use. All Tricker's undergo 260 individual steps in which craftspeople include a mulling concoction to infuse the uppers with oils, a wooden shank, a corking compound from a century-old recipe, and exquisite English finishing. The Tramping Boot's more robust silhouette is achieved by using the 4497s Last, which creates a substantial yet elegant design that accommodates a variety of foot types. This results in a simple forest-to-frontier focused boot that combines country footwear build-quality with a modern form, made to the refined craftsmanship standards expected from a Tricker's. With its natural Barbour storm welt and midsole, a British-made Ridgeway lug sole, and brass eyelets, this boot takes a British classic to refined heights while acting as a foundation for any ensemble. As England's oldest shoemaker, Royal warrant holder, originator of the country boot, and one of the first and few still utilizing traditional Goodyear welting to the highest standards of quality in the industry, a Tricker's truly is made to last a lifetime in all conditions.
