Black Bear Brand
Revived from Black Manufacturing which has been part of the Pacific Northwest manufacturing community for almost 100 years, Black Bear Brand has stayed true to its original legacy of making durable and aesthetically-classic goods through a union of regional makers considered the best in their craft. Black Bear Brand keeps original founder George G. Black’s vision alive by making simple, straightforward, and durable garments while re-imagining the definitions of traditional workwear. This union of collaborators has designed a style that is both timeless and progressive, adaptable yet intensely resonant of the past. The company's new renaissance man, Josh Sirlin, is single-handedly responsible for the restoration of an historic piece of the Northwest's manufacturing community, achieved by utilizing the best resources in inventive ways while still honoring the story and sustainability of past production. A celebration of our region's purposeful grit, Black Bear Brand captures the perfect combination of the past and future of heritage goods made for their intended lifestyle.
